Aleksi is two years and six months. The word Troy and I use most often to describe him is “awesome”. In the past two months or so, he has given up tutti and become potty trained during the day. He happily goes to nursery and his friends’ houses. If you ask him who his friends are, he most often mentions Jaxon. He also knows James, Anders, Matthew and Nini (Lily) by name. He is very good at names and knows Missie and Jess by name as well. 

Aleksi was slower to start talking but now he is using extensive phrases and his vocabulary is exploding. I was emptying his little potty and he said “let me do that”. He also started asking “what happened?” frequently.

He is a bit cranky in the mornings and doesn’t eat breakfast too much though he asks for it right when he wakes up. He likes to protest naps “no nap” is a frequent thing he calls out. He still calls out “aiti, I’m up” when he wakes up. He loves to get into our arms and wrap himself around us when he gets out of his crib.

He has started to be polite and often says “thanks aiti” on his own and very quickly says “thank you” when prompted.

Just like his older siblings, he is trained to love soda. He loves candy.
