Aleksi is a happy baby.
When he wakes up from his nap and you turn on the light and unswaddle him, he is all smiles.
He might fuss a bit on the play mat or in the swing, but the moment you make eye contact with him, he is all smiles.
He loves the attention from Saku and Eerika. They have mastered the animated "baby talk" voice and they can really capture his attention. The kids compete over Aleksi's attention, which is kind of cute but mostly very frustrating.
He has rolled once from back to tummy. And few times after Eerika gave a little nudge to help him. Then she happily cheered "Aleksi rolled over again".
He sleeps in his own room in the crib. Even though I make frequent trips up his room, on a good night it is two times and on a bad night even up to six times, I love the fact that I have my room back to myself.
He now sleeps unswaddled at night and swaddled for naps.

He loves to blow bubbles.
He loves showers and baths.
He looks at our food with much interest. He tries to grab everything!
He drools so much. And spits up so much.
He chews on his hands.
He is ok in the carseat now.
He takes three naps a day. We are still working on getting good naps. He naps the same time each day and eats the same time but he still wakes up after 45 minutes at least for one of his naps.
He poops once a day, if even that. This is a big change.
He takes a bottle well and gets excited when he sees the bottle. But when he drinks formula, he poops in the middle of the night.
He hangs out with Marilee and Bruce Weston during the third hour of primary. No signs of stranger awareness yet. Troy wants to "pass him around" as much as possible as our other kids have been very attached to us well into their 2nd year of life.
