When we got to Belize, Troy and I did a day long excursion WITHOUT kids. Ukki and Mummi watched the kids and we were being regular tourists without two little kids.
Dad sent me these pictures and they made me so happy. It is always great to see what happens with your kids while you are gone and it sure makes me so happy to see them interact with Ukki and Mummi.

Also on the last day of the cruise, Paula asked me if Troy and I would like to some time without the kids while on the boat? Yes we would:) So Ukki and Mummi took the kids for few hours. We went to the "over 21" area since we had not been able to go and enjoy the cushy lounge chairs with kids. Of course, it happened to be the first day that we felt and saw the effects of tropical storm Isaac and we got rained on. But it was still nice to be without the kids for a bit.
Throughout the cruise, my family was amazing at helping take Saku to the bathroom, swimming with him, running in the hallways with Eerika and entertaining them during dinners and lunches. I am grateful for their help and especially their love for our children.
